So the first 3 days living in beautiful Windsor, there was a spectacular view from the back of the house. Particularly from the upstairs back bedrooms. From there, you could see the tops of the walls separating each house's individual gardens, lined with ivy and flowers. Every so often in the distance, you could see a plane taking off in our direction from London's Heathrow airport. Very nice indeed.
Today however, as the winds have changed, so have the flight paths. Today, all flights changed direction and rather than the occassional plane taking off in our direction and heading up and outward, in a nice quiet pattern, we have been subjected to the landing of aircraft in a much louder fashion, at about one minute intervalls.....all....day....long. So every minute or so, you are unable to hear the television or need to speak louder in order to compensate. Not so serene and pleasant.
